Elder Peterson had a bad week. He is very good at backing up the truck, van or whatever but when someone honked at him he lost control. He even had a spotter who also was rattled by the honk. This was in the parking lot of our new place. The lady that owned the car wasn't surprised when she found his note that he hit her. She says, "It happens all the time".


On Monday, in the mail, he received a ticket with his picture on it. Yes, they take a picture of you speeding and you don't even know it. Speeding ticket for going about 7km over speed limit was 1000kk. Then he was out trying to purchase a cell phone for the President and parked the car and got a 510KK ticket for only 15 min. That is $100. Then he went to pay his ticket and they slapped a 5000kk ($1000) fine on him for not having a Danish driver's license. The attorny had told us we don't need one. The law is very vague and so now he is very happy to have a case to take to court. All this at the expense or stress of Gary, Dad, Grandpa or Elder Peterson, whatever you call him. I am suppose to call him Elder Peterson, but sometimes I just call him late for dinner, work, etc. or just "Peterson"
